PhD IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
The PhD in Electrical Engineering is a three and a half or four year program for international students taught in English. Students can start the program in September or February each year.
Students on the Electrical Engineering PhD Program can specialise in the following areas:
Electric machines and electric apparatus, Power electronics and power drives.
The following courses are offered by all international postgraduate programs:
Chinese, Introduction to China, Theory of Matrix, Finite Element method in Engineering, Introduction to Space flight, Introduction to Space law, Scientific literature retrieval, Scientific thesis writing, Fractals and Wavelets, Probability and Statistics, C Language, Computer networking and applications, Space environment, orbit and satellite systems, Aerospace materials and processes, Introduction to modern manufacturing technology
Applicants who are less than 45 years old are eligible and above 18 years of age, applicants must have a master's of Science or equivalent master's degree, and who obtain a sufficient English level are more than welcome to apply for this course. Applicants are required to submit the certificates of 90 or higher in TOEFL, 5.5 or higher in IELTS. All applicants need to pass the English level test at the beginning of the first semester.
